Image Upload Policy
What you may upload to PinPath, how your images are processed and stored, and the rights you keep over them.
Uploading inspiration
You may upload inspiration images to organize projects and receive planning assistance. By uploading an image, you confirm you own it or have the necessary rights or permission to use it on PinPath.
How your images are processed
When you upload an image, it is processed securely to generate your planning tools. That processing produces:
- A colour palette extracted from the image, with HEX and RGB values
- Mood, style, theme and difficulty insights
- A custom, editable shopping checklist and category-specific tips
Local and cloud processing
Some analysis (such as colour extraction) runs directly in your browser on your device. Your image file and the resulting analysis are then stored in PinPath's secure cloud storage so your workspace persists across sessions and devices. Images are transferred over encrypted connections and are served to you through short-lived private links.
Private vs. public storage
Where your image is visible depends on how you use it:
- Images saved to your personal bookmarks, folders and workspaces remain private to your account
- Images you explicitly share to the Community Gallery become visible to other PinPath users
- Only the image itself is shared to the Community Gallery — your checklists, notes, budgets and personal insights always stay private
Your rights and deletion
You retain full ownership and copyright of every image you upload. PinPath claims no ownership of your content and only uses it to provide the features you request.
- You can delete any uploaded image from your workspace at any time
- You can remove an image from the Community Gallery at any time
- Deleting a project removes its images from our storage
- You may contact us at psyche2516@gmail.com to request removal of your content
Prohibited uploads
You must not upload:
- Illegal content of any kind
- NSFW, sexually explicit or graphic content
- Hateful, harassing, violent or discriminatory material
- Copyrighted content you do not own or have permission to use
- Content depicting or exploiting minors
- Private or personal information about other people without their consent
- Malicious files, malware, or content designed to disrupt the service
Content moderation
PinPath reserves the right to review, restrict, remove, or refuse any upload that does not comply with this policy, and to suspend or terminate accounts responsible for repeated or serious violations — with or without prior notice. To report a non-compliant upload, contact psyche2516@gmail.com.
